The Odyssey Network Business Retreat proudly celebrated its 20th anniversary in May 2019 — and we look forward to the next decade as we change lives for multicultural women everywhere.

It was a success by any measure — packed crowds of Odyssey women formed million-dollar partnerships, forged long-lasting friendships, and honored corporate sponsors. Most important, the Retreat celebrated powerful women who shared their stories of success.

Odyssey audiences have come to expect the very best in entertainment, and the 20th anniversary Retreat delivered — Cicely Tyson, Holly Robinson Peete, Vanessa Williams, Mary Wilson (one of the original Supremes), and many others.

Captains of industry took the stage and delivered pure inspiration. Media Personality Soledad O’Brien, The Coca Cola Company Global Chief Diversity Lori Billingsley, Former Office Depot Executive Vice President Jerri DeVard; Unilever Executive Vice President &, Chief Operating Officer Esi Eggleston Bracey; and many others, regaled with reports of corporate ladder-climbing to thunderous applause.

And yes, 20 years later, Odyssey Media has proven that multicultural women around the world are a force with staying power. No one doubts that women can focus on career mapping, multitasking, and family bonds like Odyssey women.
